COMPLETE HOME INSPECTIONS
When conducting an inspection of a property We design a personalized checklist for your home. All homes are checked for water leaks under every sink and faucet and roof. Assure electrical services are working and all breakers in the electrical panel are on unless requested off. Thermostats regulated seasonally. Visually inspect for mold and mildew which can be quite an issue in our humid climate. Flush toilets and run sinks if the water is on in the house or if we have not winterized the home. Make sure the home is secure at all entries during each visit. Check the air handler and heat pump in your home to make sure it is running and keeping the temperature in your home properly. We will leave a humidistat/thermostat in each home in order to keep an independent eye on the system. Check in attics to make sure rodents have not invaded. Check to make sure water heaters are not leaking or running if not needed. Make sure contractors such as Landscapers and Pool cleaning companies are doing their job as scheduled.Check the exterior for weather damage. Check mail if requested.
Making sure your island car is running properly. We will start your car or drive it in order to make sure the car is in running condition. We can also have routine car maintenance preformed.
FIRST RESPONDER TO YOUR ALARM SYSTEM
We are willing to be the first local responder to your alarm system in the event it is set off.
SPECIAL STORM VISITS
Hilton Head is known for its strong coastal storms. Storm checks will be conducted when damage is reported in our area.
COORDINATE WITH SERVICE PERSONNEL
We will be happy to meet with contractors as needed for your home. When doing this we will let the contractors in to the property and when the work is completed return to the property and conduct a security inspection to make sure all is safe and well with the property. At this time we will also make sure the work has been completed properly and take photos if requested in order to assure you of the proper completion. This would include contractors for pest control, electrical work, plumbing, remodeling, interior design, quoting projects, etc.
PREPARE QUOTES FROM LOCAL CONTRACTORS
We also are able to assist the homeowner with projects by having local contractors submit quotes for projects and having them forwarded to the homeowner. We do not have a partnership or collect referral fees from any contractors and can assure the homeowner to get the quote as it was presented to us. We do however have a list of contractor we have worked with for many years in the area and are happy to suggest contractors based on integrity, timely completion, workmanship and fair pricing.
HURRICANE PREPARATION
Every year at the beginning of Hurricane season we will stow outdoor furniture, potted plants and any other outdoor items (within reason) that could become a projectile during storms. Unfortunately not all of our homeowners have proper space to store these items therefore we will stack them against the home or bring them into the home if requested. We can also have quotes prepared from companies for hurricane shutters, or other precautions.
CONCIERGE SERVICES
House cleaning services, fresh flowers for the home upon arrival, grocery delivery services, catering for meals on arrival, calling for tee times, car detailing services, picking up tickets for events, setting up taxi services to and from air port, fishing charters and numerous other services in order to make your stay on the island more enjoyable.
DVD VIDEO SERVICES AVAILABLE
All of our clients will receive a free DVD of the interior and exterior of their home for insurance purposes. During the initial inspection of the property this video will be shot and then kept on file in order to have a reference of pre-existing conditions of the home.
We also offer a DVD service for ongoing projects. Imagine having a regular update to ongoing remodeling projects or something as simple as newly delivered furniture to your home.
