Absentee by the Sea is Family owned and operated by the Sundling family. Terry Sundling created this business after realizing the need for a personalized touch for families who own second properties on Hilton Head. Hilton Head is more than a home to Terry; he takes great pride in the community, his family, and appreciates the beauty of Hilton Head. Terry supports the local Hilton Head Chamber of Commerce and the businesses associated with it. Terry and his wife Darcey are both long time residence of Hilton Head (Terry since 1984 and Darcey since 1992) Terry coordinates all aspects of Absentee by the Sea including home inspections, contractor relations, alarm system response and numerous concierge service. Terry is no stranger to the home watch business having spent fifteen years in the construction field which taught him the importance of taking care of an investment as important as your home. Terry brings his experience in, framing, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, kitchen and bath installation and design, installation and maintenance of security systems, home automation systems, installation and design of phone and television systems and management of large projects in order to handle anything your home may send his way. Because Terry is so passionate about Absentee by the Sea and its possibilities, Absentee by the Sea provides an unparallel commitment to taking care of their clients. Terry is always available to his clients and urges them to call with any questions or needs at any time.
